Long Distance Relationship
Long Distance Relationship works when you think it works. What is the rule of long distance relationship?
There are tons of articles, millions of books, different kinds of movie about the rule of long distance relationship. I have read many books to know more about how men think. After reading them all, many questions spinning in my mind. Do girls have to pretend they are busy when they are waiting for going out with her boyfriends for a long time? Do girls need to be difficult just to make her boyfriends want her more? Why should a girl play games when she is deeply in love with her boyfriend?
Here’s my experience. I met my fiance when I was in the US, we spend every single minutes together when I was in the US. When I came back to Hong Kong, I keeped calling him and talked to him like every day in MSN. I used to so stupid to follow all the rule I read from the books and stuff, I tried to be difficult. After all, I found I ruin our relationship. Luckily, my fiance doesn’t give us up.
Love is simple, love is not logical. You can’t follow any rule to make long distance relationship work. All you have to do is listen to your heart, follow your feeling. There is an example, if you have watched the movie, sex and the city, you should know what I am talking about. There is a scene, Miranda tried to list out the pros and cons of her husband, but after all when she saw the milk on her lips, she realized what is love. Love is not how good her husband is, but what they experience and share in life; Love is a feeling which is hard to explain to others why you loved.
Some of my friends will ask me to give up, cause they think long distance reltionship is kind of tortures. No one can judge your relationship, they are not the party involved, they never experience what you experience with your half, you are the only one can definate it is worth or not.
Long distance relationship is hard, but it is possible when you really love your half. Listen to your heart, follow your feeling. You will have no regret when you did what you want to do no matter the relationship finally work out or not. I do think it is not easy to find someone you love and love you.
